How difficult it is to drive the boat?
We will give you a full brief on how the boat operates. To make things simpler half of our fleet are very basic boats. We will explain to you what to do if in difficulty and you will also have a very detailed map that shows you places where you can anchor and were you can go.
How big are the boats?
We have a fair selection of boats varying from 13 feet to 27 feet with different passenger capacities starting from 2 passengers to 12 passengers.
Do I need a boat licence to drive a boat?
A boat licence is not required for boats carrying up to 6 passengers, however a valid boat handling certificate is needed for boats that carry more than 6 passengers. All drivers must be over 18 years of age, A valid identification i.e. passport, ID card or a credit card is needed to fill up a craft hiring agreement form. (Skippers are also available).
What’s on board?
All our boats come equipped with EU safety equipment: buoyance aids (adults and children), first aid box, distress flares, fire extinguisher, anchor, removable shade canopies, cushions, GPST (global positioning system transponder) and echo sounder on boats from 60hp up.
Do we have to buy fuel before we leave?
All our boats would be ready and full to go, clients are invited to take a visual look at the full fuel tank. Fuel is measured in litres at the end of the rental. Fuel not included.
Is it important to book the boat beforehand?
Booking the boat before is very important (especially in high season). You can e-mail, sms, call or message us on Facebook, specifying the boat you would like to book. A €50 deposit is enough to block a booking. You can either pay us through the PayPal link below, swift or cash at our water sports centre in Xlendi bay.
Can we drink alcohol and drive?
Persons driving the boat are not allowed to drink alcohol and passengers who aren’t driving are allowed to a limit.
